UVP has announced a major upgrade for its Visionworks LS analysis software for 1D analysis of gels, plates and membranes as well as colony counting.
Visionworks LS has been configured with UVP's Bioimaging systems, making v7.0 of the software the most streamlined, efficient design for personalised workflow.
Visionworks LS v7.0 software includes redesigned interface, portable analysis data, capture templates and compatibility with Windows 7.
The redesigned layout is now organised into five concise sections for acquisition, analysis, area density, colony counting and imaging filters.
This design provides an organised workflow through the image capture and analysis functions.
Image capture templates are predefined, allowing quick and easy capture of standard fluorescent, chemiluminescent and white light images.
The settings, including aperture, focus and lighting, are preset for typical imaging applications.
The templates are useful for repeat experiments, and users can define personalised templates as well.
Saving the image and analysis data in a single file permits the image/analysis to be portable and transferable to another computer.
This aids researchers when working on network computers.
The Visionworks LS v7.0 upgrade is compatible with Windows 7 (32-bit) for computers with the latest operating software.
