Enigma Diagnostics will soon showcase the Enigma ML (mini-laboratory) system, which is suitable for use in the clinical laboratory and in point-of-care applications.
Senior management from the company will be available at this year's American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo on 25-29 July to provide information about the Enigma ML and will be located in the point-of-care section in Booth 1530.
At the event, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, the company will also exhibit its fully automated real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system, the Enigma ML, which enables the fast and accurate 'test-and-treat' molecular diagnostics at the point of care with minimal operator training.
This portable and self-contained instrument delivers raw sample to result in less than 60 minutes, providing laboratory-standard results in real time and enabling users to immediately determine the correct treatment for patients.
The Enigma ML is currently being developed to detect and identify infectious organisms, such as bacteria and viruses, in clinical and biological samples.
