Harvard Apparatus has launched reusable PTFE dialysers for equilibrium dialysis, regular dialysis or electro-elution.
The units cover volumes of 25ul, 50ul, 100ul, 250ul, 500ul, 1,000ul and 1,500ul and have been redesigned to provide larger membrane surface areas to increase dialysis speeds by three to five times.
The units consist of double-sided chambers sealable with another chamber plus two solid caps or simply with two open caps for use with separate membranes between them.
Open main chambers facilitate sample introduction and withdrawal.
These chambers can be used for equilibrium dialysis studies, regular dialysis or electro-elution in an Electroprep tank.
All these experiments are easily accomplished using a full range of membranes with MWCO of 100, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, 100,000 or 300,000 Daltons.
The dialysers can be placed in a temperature-controlled device for even faster dialysis times.
