Schott has launched Duran super-duty beakers and flasks for applications that require optimum safety when subjecting the glass to heavy mechanical loading, frequent use and repeated cleaning.
The super-duty beakers and flasks feature increased wall thickness to provide improved mechanical resilience.
Schott said thicker rims reduce breakage risk and increase service life.
Beakers are low form with spout in capacities between 150-5,000ml, while conical-form Erlenmeyer flasks are available in wide-neck (100-1,000ml) and narrow-neck (25-5,000ml) capacities.
All feature Duran glass to ISO3585:1998 and are printed with a retrace batch code for certificate download.
