IN/US Systems has announced that the Laura 4 radiochromatography software system now offers researchers the ability to import data from liquid scintillation counters (LSC) and plate readers.
Once imported (either directly or via disk transfer), the data can be processed using Laura's range of tools for chromatogram integration.
It can also be compared and included in reports along with the data collected from on-line radio flow-through detectors.
Using Laura, backgrounds can be accurately defined and subtracted; correction for half-life decay is automatic when working with short-lived radio-isotopes; and limits of detection can easily be defined.
Runs under low-level counting conditions can be viewed with clarity thanks to IN/US's statistical deconvolution algorithm, which reveals the smallest of peaks against background, while leaving the raw data unchanged.
