TTP Labtech has announced it will be providing hands-on demonstrations of its Mosquito nanolitre pipetting system during a European roadshow tour.
Mosquito is available in three standard formats, each of which can address a range of applications, including high-throughput screening (HTS), 'hit picking' and protein crystallography.
All can provide repeatable nanolitre dispensing of any liquid down to 25nl, irrespective of viscosity.
The Mosquito Crystal automates crystallography set-ups (hanging drop, sitting drop and microbatch techniques) and additive screening.
Offering all the functionality of the standard Mosquito Crystal, the Mosquito LCP instrument offers a fully automated solution to lipidic cubic phase (LCP) screening.
Mosquito HTS miniaturises screening applications, such as assay-ready plate preparation, reformatting and serial dilutions to make more efficient use of valuable compounds.
The Mosquito X1 is a single-tip 'hit picking' instrument that offers precision nanolitre sampling of any individual well or location.
This enables researchers to transfer nanolitre volumes of hits from primary screening plates directly to hit validation without cross contamination or further dilution.
The Mosquito European roadshow will begin on 18 October 2010 and will visit Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France and Spain.
