Qiagen has launched the free Qiagen App, an application that can be used on Iphone and Ipad mobile devices and is aimed at easing scientists' daily work.
The app includes tables of commonly used lab buffers and solutions, as well as a variety of conversion and dilution calculators.
It allows users to watch more than 20 video tutorials on the Iphone and Ipad on technologies in application areas such as automation, gene expression analysis, genotyping and pyrosequencing.
The Ipad application will offer a bundle for Qiacube users that includes protocol sheets, support documents and updates.
