Sigma Life Science has introduced 1,700 new products to its collection of highly characterised Prestige antibodies powered by Atlas Antibodies.
The entire portfolio now stands at more than 10,000 antibodies and covering 8,400 protein targets.
Each Prestige antibody is supported by more than 700 immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and Western blot images, with complete data for each product publicly available through the Human Protein Atlas.
The continued expansion of this collection is part of the Swedish Human Proteome Resource (HPR) programme to develop at least one antibody to all non-redundant human proteins by 2015.
Sigma Life Science's complete collection of more than 40,000 antibodies, including the Prestige antibody portfolio, is included in the company's new searchable Antibody Explorer database, helping scientists to find the right product for their needs.
