Dilyx Biotechnologies' Optisol Protein Solubility Screening kit tackles protein aggregation, which is said to be the number one cause of inadvertent protein sample loss.
The kit combines an array of 96 test solutions having different pH, salt and additives with array-based filtration technology and enables researchers to quickly analyse and optimise the solubility of any protein.
The results are computed with the included protein dashboard, allowing for quick identification of optimal solution conditions.
Applications range from finding optimum protein solubility 'sweet spots' to solubilisation of reversibly aggregated protein samples, both resulting in aggregation-proofed protein solution conditions.
The kit is available for proteins smaller than 30kDa and smaller than 200kD.
