New Brunswick Scientific has introduced BioCommand SFI, a new PC-based software package for trending and archiving critical data such as temperature, gas concentration and humidity from lab equipment.
BioCommand SFI, which has the ability to monitor and data log up to 32 units simultaneously, can be used with any RS-232, RS-485 or OPC-compatible system, including Innova and Excella shakers, Galaxy CO2 incubators and Innova and Premium Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer.
This software records temperature, shaking speed, gas concentrations, humidity and alarms.
Trend screens can be customised, enabling the user to choose up to eight parameters per window for on-screen monitoring.
A built-in notes feature for annotating alarm events allows the user to add custom messages such as 'door opened' or 'power out'.
BioCommand SFI is based on New Brunswick's BioCommand bioprocessing software for fermentors and bioreactors, which adds more powerful features and options for control capabilities.
