Woodley has announced that its range of Horizon centrifuges for applications including small labs, veterinary surgeries and emergency rooms has been reduced in price.
In addition, the warranty of the eight models in the range has been extended to two years.
The price reduction has been made possible due to changes in the manufacturing processes.
A key safety feature on the Horizon range is the automatic and zero RPM lid-lock.
Horizon centrifuges can be branded with the user's logo and brand colours, and they are CE, UL and CAN/CSA certified.
The centrifuge range is suitable for a variety of applications including doctors' offices, contact research/pharmaceutical organisations, larger laboratories, university departments, coagulation surgeries, emergency laboratories and more.
Horizontal separation maximises the centrifugal force, therefore reducing spin times, and a horizontal rotor produces a tighter horizontal separation line.
The tighter gel line prevents re-mixing and therefore contamination and haemolysis.
It is also less likely to become disturbed during shipping, ensuring samples arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
