Laboratory supplies company Lab3 has re-engineered the Boxer brand of autoclaves and will roll out a range of freestanding autoclaves that will include eco and traditional models.
The eco models are designed to reduce electricity and water usage while the traditional range has an emphasis on faster cycle time.
Both ranges are covered by a three-year warranty.
Boxer Laboratory Equipment went into liquidation at the end of February 2010, meaning the company is unable to fulfil any existing service contracts to maintain, calibrate and validate autoclaves.
However, two Boxer field service engineers have joined Lab3, which is honouring any existing contracts under the same terms for a period of up to 12 months (not including the manufacturer's warranty).
Lab3 holds ISO9001 for all activities.
It is accredited by UKAS for temperature calibration and validation and in addition has achieved safe contractor accreditation for its health and safety standards.
