Gilson has launched the PLC 2020, a personal liquid chromatography system that is suitable for normal/reverse-phase HPLC and Flash purification applications.
The PLC 2020 is available from John Morris Scientific and has been designed to support individuals or small groups of chemists.
The compact unit, which is described as 'HPLC in a box', has interchangeable pump heads for flow rates of 25mL/min at 4,600lb/in2, 50mL/min at 2,100lb/in2, and 100mL/min at 1,200lb/in2.
The system has electronically actuated manual injections of up to 10mL volumes and variable dual wavelength UV/Vis detection.
All fraction collection control and method creation is controlled from an integrated, easy-to-use touchscreen display.
