Radleys' new Control Software allows chemists to datalog and control multiple devices including stirrers, circulators, balances, pumps, temperature sensors and other devices.
The Control Software is designed to control jacketed reaction systems, including Radleys' Reactor-Ready, Reactor-Ready Duo, Lara CLR and other popular reactor makes.
The software features a Windows format with intuitive drag-and-drop icons.
A logical flowchart interface enables the setting up of apparatus, creating recipes and running experiments.
All recipe and experimental data is automatically logged to .csv files and data can be recalled for analysis, as well as being shared with other users, departments or sites.
The flexible license allows pre and post experimental work on other computers.
Users can: choose from several screen mimics to suit the reaction system setup; use the software to create recipes with any number of steps in series or parallel, then move to the next step in a recipe based on time, temperature and pH; stop, pause, skips and modify experiments mid run; add comments or observations to the datalog during the experiment; view real-time graphs of data during theexperiment.
For safe operation set user configurable alarms and emergency cut-off options for each device.
An optional Data Hub allows up to four RS232 devices, including overhead stirrers, circulators, balances, peristaltic pumps, syringe pumps, pH meters, vacuum pumps, flow meters and turbidity meters, to be integrated with the software.
Each Data Hub also features two Pt100 temperature sensors.
Users can increase the number of RS232 ports to eight with the addition of a second Data Hub.
