To minimise the likelihood of human sampling errors, a plan of the sample location can be displayed on the touchscreen.
Due to the different flow rates required for clean-room filter testing (ISO 14644-1) and monitoring (ISO 14644-2), two different particle counters are usually employed.

The instrument is available in either stainless steel or plastic with stainless steel components.
To eliminate the need for downtime during recharging, each instrument is equipped with slots for two long-lasting lithium-ion batteries.
In the plastic enclosure variant they are retrievable even during use, enabling uninterrupted operation and ensuring flexibility.
