Oxford Gene Technology (OGT) is to host a workshop entitled 'Adding Value Through Analysis' at the 2011 European Society of Human Genetics conference in Amsterdam.
The workshop will take place between 11:45 and 13:15 on 28 May and will reveal details of OGT's targeted sequencing service.
It will feature presentations from OGT team members including chief executive officer Mike Evans, senior computational biologist Jolyon Holdstock, and head of computational biology, Volker Brenner.
Each talk will focus on key elements of the service, culminating in an informal discussion over lunch provided by OGT.
The volume of data generated by next-generation sequencing can present a serious obstacle to researchers in terms of data management, storage and analysis.
OGT's targeted sequencing service is designed to provide meaningful results rather than insurmountable datasets, achieved by utilising OGT's probe design and data analysis expertise, plus independently accredited quality control procedures.
The sequencing options available combine with other aspects of OGT's Genefficiency genomic services offering to provide a flexible and powerful solution for driving forward genomic research.
