PAC is to hold customer training classes on the Antek Multitek analyser at its headquarters in Houston, Texas.
The Multitek is an all-in-one instrument that provides testing for sulphur, nitrogen and halides.
Described as being compact, powerful, automated and multi-configurable, it is said to meet the increasing demand worldwide for the fast, accurate detection and analysis of unwanted chemicals, pollutants, contaminants and corrosive elements.
As the Multitek delivers precise results with high sensitivity and good versatility, it is a valuable process optimisation tool that delivers a fast return on investment and a good bottom line, according to the company.
During this intensive, hands-on instruction, PAC will discuss: the theoretical background; hardware and software; system start-up and software installation; laboratory exercises for day-to-day operation; the interpretation of results; troubleshooting; system maintenance; and the replacement of parts.
Classes will take place in Houston on 20 July 2011, 7 September 2011 and 2 November 2011.
Operators will have the chance to learn from PAC's industry specialists in order to improve their laboratory productivity and the accuracy of their results.
To assist operators in their day-to-day operation of PAC systems, the company developed a complete offering of factory, customised and on-site training.
PAC training courses cover theory, practice and hands-on learning experiences.
Courses are designed for all learning levels and needs, including those who are new to elemental analysis looking for basic tips and maintenance, those who just need a refresher and those who need applications training.
Prospective attendees need to contact their local PAC representative to sign up.
