Andor has introduced the DH320T ultra-fast intensified CCD platform for spectroscopy to its Istar range of scientific-grade ICCDs.
The DH320T features -40C thermo-electric cooling, low-noise electronics and high quantum efficiency photocathodes, spectral acquisition rates of up to 38,000Hz and precise timing control through low-jitter electronics.
It is also features a software control interface and ultra-fast gating better than <2 nanoseconds.
The Istar's digital delay generator is said to offer ultra-low insertion delay and good timing accuracy down to a few tens of picoseconds, allowing precise synchronisation of complex experiments through a range of input/output triggering options.
Solis software provides an intuitive interface to accurately set all delays, gating and CCD parameters while also offering a real-time control graphical user interface (GUI) for on-the-fly acquisition and timings optimisation.
