P and R Labpak has introduced the KNF Lab Liquiport NF300 pump, a diaphragm liquid transfer pump that is suitable for a variety of direct liquid filtration applications.
The liquid can be pumped directly through the pump via a filter without the need for a vacuum.
The flow rate is fully adjustable from 0.5 litres per minute to three litres per minute.
According to the company, the oil-free NF300 is an affordable alternative to a peristaltic pump, offering benefits such as low maintenance, a small footprint and minimal vibration.
Until 30 November 2011, P and R Labpak is offering this model with a 15 per cent discount.
The company is also currently offering the compact N86 and N811 vacuum pumps.
Filtration and solid-phase extraction (SPE) processes are accelerated when using a KNF Lab vacuum pump.
The N86 and the N811 are suitable for use with single disposable or glass flasks of up to one- and three-litre capacity respectively.
Applications include the filtration of aqueous, organic or corrosive liquids for particulate contamination analysis.
The N86 and the N811 can also be supplied with regulator and vacuum gauges to enable the adjustment of the rate of filtration to suit individual requirements.
