Aura Scientific has introduced large-volume climatic chambers from Froilabo for use in areas where climatic conditions are maintained in order to draw conclusions about a product's shelf life.
The cabinets conform to ICH standards and are available as 600- and 1,350-litre units, which cater for large industrial applications.
Controlling temperature and humidity between ambient +15C and +60C and from 40 per cent to 90 per cent relative humidity respectively, these units can typically be used in pharmaceutical QC environments, food and beverage processes and materials applications.
For regulated environments, Froilabo also provides IQ/Q documentation to enable conformity to pharmaceutical customers' stringent requirements.
The units are claimed to include user-friendly features such as low-water-level indicators to inform customers of the need to replenish the water supply and key lock to prevent unauthorised access to the units.
