The PTR-QMS 500 series is the 4th generation of PTR-MS systems developed by IONICON Analytik The High-Sensitivity PTR-QMS 500 and its sister instrument, the PTR-QMS 500 are the successor of the world's bestselling PTR-QMS instrument series, the IONICON High-Sensitivity PTR-MS and Standard PTR-MS.
New developments include: reduced instrument size and weight combined with improved maintainability, touchscreen displays, new heating chamber layout for easier access and new control electronics .
The most significant development is the new IONICON ULTRA-PURE ion source that delivers a precursor ion intensity beyond previously achievable levels.
