CLC bio and VIB, a life sciences research institute in Flanders, Belgium, have announced the signing of an academic regional site license agreement
The deal centres on CLC bio's sequence analysis software CLC DNA Workbench.
The software will be used across academic institutions in the Flanders region in Belgium, including Universiteit Gent, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, University of Antwerp, and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Director of communications at CLC bio, Lasse Gorlitz, said: 'With the whole life science field moving rapidly towards adopting DNA sequence analysis for a wide range of purposes, this is an important investment in biomolecular research for both the Flanders region and all of Belgium.'
