Electrophoresis system has the ability to run up to three 96-well sample plates unattended.
The Fragment Analyser Automated Capillary Electrophoresis System allows for automated, rapid and accurate analysis of dsDNA fragments and RNA.
By using a sensitive intercalating dye coupled with a LED light source, the Fragment Analyser removes the need for fluorescent labelled primers and can be used to separate intact genomic DNA, fragmented DNA, ligated DNA, enriched DNA, RNA (mRNA and total RNA) and NGS fragment libraries.
According to VH Bio, the system enables customers to streamline sample analysis by offering high sizing accuracy and quantification precision, coupled with a reduction in reagent preparation and minimal sample handling compared to manual processes.
The instrument features:
- An automated capillary flush with fresh gel between every injection cycle to prevent sample carryover;
- The ability to run up to three 96-well sample plates unattended, with a capacity of 1,500 samples/day;
- The ability to switch between two different gel types automatically between injections, enabling multiple sizing ranges to be assessed from one run to the next;
- High separation resolution; and
- High sensitivity detection with a dynamic range for DNA smears of <50 pg/µL to >5,000 pg/µL.
The system offers multiple gel formulas for DNA and RNA applications including SSR/microsatellites; total RNA and mRNA; Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) libraries; mutation detection (TILLiNG); genomic DNA; large DNA (<40,000bp); and plasmid DNA.
VH Bio has exclusive rights to market the Fragment Analyser Automated Capillary Electrophoresis System in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
