The InfraCal 2 field analyser from Wilks is capable of measuring sub-ppm oil in water samples.
The portable system can measure samples down to 0.1ppm, with Wilks suggesting analysis is possible in less than 15 minutes.
The touch screen display includes – multiple calibrations, internal data logging with transferrable capabilities and various security features.
Applications include; on-site oil in water measurement such as sub-ppm detection levels of oil in wastewater, laboratory based quantitative measurements and the system boasts use with infrared transparent solvents as well as hexane for extraction processes.
