Micormeritics has launched its NanoPlus system which utilises photon correlation spectroscopy and light scattering techniques.
The instrument is capable of measuring the particle size of samples suspended in liquids in the range of 0.1 nanometres to 12.3 micrometres.
Sample suspension concentrations range from 0.00001% to 40% and boast sensitivity for molecular weight as low as 250 Da.
Dual correlators are designed to provide high sensitivity measurements in multi component samples.
Zeta potential measurements can be performed with sample suspensions in the -500 mV to +500 mV range. The FST technology reduces path length and multiple scattering effects and also offers a concentration range of 0.001 to 40%.
The instrument is available in three model configurations: the NanoPlus-1 - nano particle sizing instrument; NanoPlus-2 - zeta potential instrument and NanoPlus-3 - combination nano particle sizing and zeta potential instrument.
Additionally, the optional NanoPlus AT is used to titrate sample suspensions in a pH range from 1 to 13.
