SCIEX IVD-MS series of in vitro diagnostic reagent kits are for use in conjunction with mass spec for clinical analysis.
The kits are CE marked to meet European regulatory requirements. The first is for 25-OH vitamin D analysis, and can quantitate trace levels of both 25-OH-Vitamin D2 and 25-OH-Vitamin D3 in a single run, allowing clinicians to diagnose vitamin D deficiencies.
Mass spec has the potential to improve the quality of clinical diagnostics while reducing costs, compared to other technologies.
The kits work with the recently launched AB SCIEX 3200MD CE-IVD series of mass spec systems
