Micromeritics’ grant selection committee has selected the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis as the recipient of its grant for his research into hydrogen production from solar energy and biomass.
Awarded to the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Dalian, China, the grant will allow the ASAP 2020 analyser to support research projects that include research on the rational synthesis of metal-organic frameworks and their application to gas separation and catalysis.
According to grant committee investigator Professor Can Li: “[The ASAP 2020] will also be used extensively to research the hydrogen production from solar energy and biomass.”
The Micromeritics instrument grant programme is intended to provide particle characterisation instruments to non-profit universities and research organisations for the purpose of fostering and supporting meritorious research projects.
Applications may be submitted at any time in accordance with the application instructions and will remain active for a period of one year from the date of submission.
