BLMA to host forum at Lab Innovations
7 Oct 2013
The British Laboratory Managers Association (BLMA) has announced that it is hosting a round table open Forum meeting at Lab Innovations 2013.
Open to all laboratory managers, the BLMA meeting will explore and discuss laboratory management issues raised by the participants. Subjects are likely to include people, buildings, equipment, health and safety, training and regulations, with the discussions facilitated by BLMA committee members.
The BLMA was formed to help all laboratory managers learn and improve their skills in laboratory management. To do this it provides training and shares best practice examples in laboratory management. It also creates opportunities for laboratory managers to meet, exchange ideas and build on their collective experiences.
The Forum at Lab Innovations will support this work, by providing an ideal opportunity for laboratory professionals to network with fellow managers from across the laboratory spectrum, including: lab managers and scientists working within the chemical, life sciences, food & beverage industries plus those in research institutions all attended Lab Innovations last year.
The Forum will take place on Tuesday 6th November at 2pm. There is no charge for attending but participants are asked to book in advance via the BLMA website, as there are a finite number of spaces available. To book, please visit: http://www.blma.co.uk/events.
Visitor registration is free and now open via the Lab Innovations website: www.easyFairs.com/labinnovations.
