Temperature Electronics has launched a local exhaust ventilation monitor to help provide laboratory and industrial staff with reliably clean air.
The LEV monitor allows employers to comply with legal requirements to ensure that their LEV system always works effectively, cleaning the air to keep workers safe from dust, fumes and other airborne contaminants.
Compatible with any ducting or LEV extraction device, mains or battery powered and easy installed, the monitor has been developed in response to growing market demand.
It features a pressure cell which triggers an audible and visual alarm if airflow begins to fall, alerting operators to potential problems immediately and allowing them to take prompt action before employee safety is threatened.
TEL director, Richard Eady said: “Our new product has been created in response to the increasing demand of our industrial and laboratory partners for an affordable and flexible LEV monitor.
“We have already sold a sizeable quantity to four major customers, and are enjoying considerable interest from many more.”
