The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) is launching its first annual conference on the 22nd January.
The conference is taking place at the Inova Building, Glasgow and features experts and academics from across the industrial biotechnology (IB) sector.
YSI Life Sciences will be showing its 2950 Biochemistry Analyser, which can measure up to six compatible chemistries from Glucose, Lactate, Glutamine, Glutamate, Ammonium, Potassium, Xylose, Ethanol, Methanol, Sucrose, Galactose, Lactose, Choline, glycerol and Hydrogen Peroxide, giving results in one minute or less.
Applications include critical bioprocess monitoring, fermentation control, and biofuel production and research.
The conference starts at 09.00 with a networking drinks reception at 17.00.
