Genevac’s SampleGenie, available from Biopharma, by comparison, is a sample holder that allows large samples to be concentrated or dried directly into the final container, eliminating the need for reformatting and speeding up the process.
It’s not just about saving time either. By eliminating complicated sample handling stages the SampleGenie improves data reliability, reduces the risk of human error and can even lower labour costs.
And with the latest generation SampleGenie 4, Genevac has built on the unique capabilities of the original to provide even greater assistance to the busy research laboratory.
A new vial adapter insert has been produced, enabling it to suit vials from 12mm to 28mm diameter and up to 70mm in height.
That means the SamplGenie 4 can accommodate sample volumes of up to 250ml and because it is precision engineered there is less risk of vial breakage.
