The Priorclave Q63 autoclave has been designed with a cylindrical chamber which has a much taller profile than comparable models, resulting in a load capacity suited to sterilising larger bulky items as well as enabling small and taller items to be sterilised in a single process.
The 320-litre front-loading autoclave has a 630mm chamber and low loading height of 725mm. It features the Quickseal single-action door opening latch fitted with thermal and pressure locks to ensure safe opening at low temperature and pressure.
As well as the increased load capacity, the Q63 offers features such as forced air cooling to reduce cycle times and automatic timed free-steaming for improved air removal.
Sterilising operations are programmed easily through the Tactrol2 microprocessor controller; from simple cycles to fully featured multi-programme operation with printed records.
Control options are available for every autoclaving requirement, enabling logging of all temperature, pressure time and cycle data into a single compact archive file.
By fully automating the autoclave process and including features to assist with autoclave management, TACTROL2 enables lab staff to continue with other tasks secure in the knowledge that autoclaving is proceeding safely and efficiently.
A secure key-lock on the front of the control panel of the Q63 governs access to certain parameter settings and prevents unauthorised access to pre-set programmes. There are three levels of authorisation; pre-set is the basic setting, intermediary allows adjustment of cycle times and temperatures, and master level allows activation of settings such as accelerated cooling and media warming. Manual key-switch makes accessing each level simpler and faster.
Q63 features epoxy coated panels and frame members treated with an anti-bacterial agent that is highly effective and permanent in the control of harmful bacteria, making surfaces cleaner, more hygienic and providing durable lifelong protection against the threat of cross contamination.
The epoxy finish is proven to reduce bacterial growth by up to 99.99% and is highly effective against MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella, Pseudomonas and more than 50 other species.
The design benefits of the Q63 cylindrical chamber autoclave have been designed to appeal to laboratory managers in diverse industrial sectors such as food, drink, dairy, pharmaceutical, agricultural, education, and healthcare as well as dedicated research establishments wanting a more affordable high-capacity autoclave.
It is suitable for sterilising applications such as media preparation, liquids and diluent, waste, glassware instruments and pieces of apparatus that need superior cleansing.
