CEM, a provider of scientific solutions for critical laboratory and industrial applications, has added features to its SMART series of Moisture/Solids Analysers to produce the all SMART 6.
These are innovations made possible by the incorporation of CEM’s iPower technology, to produce faster and more precise results for both wet and dry samples.
CEM’s iPower technology features a revolutionary multi-frequency energy source that uses high frequency energy to create a uniform heating environment, which fully removes non-polar solvents and bound water, and lower frequencies that quickly remove free moisture while penetrating the sample fully and efficiently.
Drying is therefore faster than IR drying systems and allows the SMART 6 to be used for moisture/solids analysis of products such as dairy powders, snack foods, low moisture plastics, non-polar chemical solvents and pharmaceutical materials.
Operation of the CEM’s SMART 6 couldn’t be easier either as it also features a powerful cutting-edge software package.
One Touch Methods offers an extensive library of optimised CEM methods in conjunction with iDri technology, which can reduce test and analysis times to produce results in 60 seconds.
