Reagent designed to preserve white blood cells in samples prior to immunophenotyping, has been improved to offer consistent intensity of preserved samples
The Cyto-Chex reagent, designed to preserve white blood cells in samples for up to seven days prior to immunophenotyping, has been improved to offer consistent intensity (antigen staining) of preserved samples.
Samples treated with Cyto-Chex show no changes in percent recovery or light scatter characteristics throughout a seven day storage period.
This means that samples can be batched over the weekend thus reducing the use of valuable laboratory resources in the processing and daily start up costs associated with flow cytometry.
Cyto-Chex could also be used for transporting samples from point of collection to laboratory where the analysis will be performed.
