Beckman Coulter introduces two new swinging bucket Avanti centrifuge rotors, providing high-throughput, high-capacity solutions for DNA sample preparation
The new JS-5.3 four-place rotor for Beckman Coulter's Avanti J-20XP centrifuge processes up to 24 microplates at 6,130g.
The JS-5.9 two-place rotor handles up to ten 96-well plates in either the Avanti J-25 or Avanti J-30I high-performance centrifuges at up to 6,530g.
All three Avanti centrifuges feature temperature-controlled environments and patented high-torque SR (switch reluctance) brushless drive, increasing productivity with faster acceleration and deceleration times.
These new swinging bucket microplate rotors are ideal for plasmid purification, dye terminator removal, ethanol precipitation, cell culture pelleting, cell fractionation and protein precipitation.
Beckman Coulter offers a number of accessories for these new rotors, including 96-well plates, deep-well plates, square-well plates, and DNA kit 96-well filtration plates.
High-throughput processing kits are available for popular DNA chemistries including Qiagen, Amicon and Promega.
