Suitable for high-resolution still images for publication and documentation in histology, pathology, brigfhtfield, darkfield and fluorescence microscopy
BFi Optilas announces the release of the MicroPublisher 5.0, a megapixel digital camera from QImaging.
The MicroPublisher 5.0 is suitable for high-resolution, still images for publication and documentation in histology, pathology, brigfhtfield, darkfield and fluorescence microscopy.
The five million CCD sensor and the 30-bit colour digitisation produce an ultra high-resolution field of view resulting in high quality images.
The higher resolution sensor eliminates the need for pixel-shifting or co-site sampling, making ease of use even greater.
The cooled version is also available for more demanding low light applications and excels during long exposure times by minimising thermal noise. The MicroPublisher 5.0 is FireWire IEEE-1394 interfaced for simple single wire connectivity form camera to computer.
Included in the MicroPublisher 5.0 imaging system is the QCapture Software for Windows and Mac based systems and Adobe PhotoShop Elements for image enhancements.
