Produces five frames per second at 6.6 megapixel resolution, or a preview mode at VGA resolution at up to 88 frames per second
The PL-A682 is a high-resolution microscopy camera designed to capture publication quality images.
The camera has a 6.6 megapixel resolution and can provide five frames per second at that resolution, to produce publication-quality colour images. For preview, the resolution can be reduced to provide up to 88 frames per second at VGA resolution.
The region of interest is user-selectable and there are multiple decimation modes that make the camera very flexible.
Connected by FireWire and enabled by the Pixelink Capture software, the PL-A682 becomes a highly productive image capture tool for brightfield and bright fluorescence microscopy.
All camera functions can be controlled from the software application and high-resolution images or AVI video clips can be captured with ease.
The PL-A682 is IIDC complaint and can be used with IIDC compatible software such as Macintosh OSX FireWire camera drivers, the National Instruments Imaq for IEEE 1394 drivers, Unibrain, Matrox Mill, and Linux.
