Cedip says its Satir multispectral IR signature acquisition and analysis system allows operators to collect and store in real time perfectly synchronised sequences of radiometric images from the three main infra-red wavebands: 1-2.5, 3-5 and 8-12um. Benefiting from what is said to be the most advanced focal plane array detector technology and ultrafast processing electronics, the Satir system is designed to provide the high performance demanded by the most difficult of measurements.
Mounted in a ruggedised enclosure, Satir can be easily and safely transported to make reliable outdoor measurements on aircraft, ships or military vehicles.
Satir comprises three IRFPA cameras, each one being connected to a single computer for real-time storage.
A PC server controls each camera PC and provides advanced image processing.
All images taken on the Satir are referenced with time and location through a GPS receiver.
Easy-to-use software provides for comprehensive processing and analysis of IR images and sequences of IR images.
