The NucleoCounter has made it possible for even small cell laboratories to perform a fast, objective and reliable cell count, according to its manufacturer
ChemoMetec has announced the market introduction of the NucleoCounter.
“This revolutionary new technology will due to its cost efficiency, high accuracy and precision make manual cell counting obsolete.
“The NucleoCounter has made it possible for even small cell laboratories to perform a fast, objective and reliable cell count,” explains Rolf Singer, CEO and President of ChemoMetec A/S.
“Anybody in the lab can use it and it does not require any maintenance, calibration or cleaning after use.
“It is truly a plug-and-play system with a disposable sample device”.
The NucleoCounter is suitable for performing total cell count as well as estimating viability. The instrument can be connected to a PC for documentation, data storage and image collection.
The patent pending innovation is a combination of proven technologies such as fluorescence microscopy image processing and cell biology and is currently available for mammalian cells.
