For electrochemical tests including corrosion experiments, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, electrochemical noise, and square wave voltammetry.
Gamry Instruments announces the introduction of the PCI4 potentiostat.
The PCI4 is a plug-and-play device installed in a PCI slot inside a Windows-based computer.
The PCI4 is a computer-controlled potentiostat that can perform the full range of Gamry's electrochemical techniques including corrosion experiments, cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, electrochemical noise, and square wave voltammetry. When installed in a portable computer, it can be easily transported to the field.
The PCI4 is available in three models capable of measuring maximum currents of 750mA, 300mA, and 30mA. With the lowest noise specification of any commercial potentiostat, it is capable of measuring femtoamp currents. 16-bit D/A and A/D converters and post offset gain capabilities allow extraordinary resolution.
A rise time of two microseconds permits cyclic voltammetry at high scan rates.
The PCI4 can make impedance measurements up to 100 kilohertz using Gamry's unique sub-harmonic sampling technique.
