Data Translation has doubled the throughput speed for two of its DT9800 Series USB multifunction data acquisition modules with no cost increase
Data Translation today announced a significant performance enhancement to two of its DT9800 Series USB multifunction data acquisition modules.
The throughput of the DT9803 and DT9804 modules has been doubled from 50 kS/s to 100 kS/s, with no cost increase.
The DT9803 module offers highly accurate 16-bit resolution, combining state-of-the-art performance with USB ease-of-use.
All functions on the DT9800 Series modules are software-configurable, including setting of input and output ranges, selection of single-ended or differential inputs, and A/D calibration.
The DT9804 has all the features of the DT9803 with the addition of two 16-bit analog outputs.
"With the DT9803 and DT9804, weûre raising the bar, bringing higher performance with high accuracy at the same low price," said Nigel Doe, UK Sales Manager for Data Translation.
Like all of Data Translationûs USB products, the DT9803 and DT9804 will work with industry software, including National Instrumentsû LabView and Agilent Technologiesû VEE.
The board series includes ready-to-run applications software bundled free on CD-ROM.
The CD bundle includes a run-time version of TestPointOdrag-and-drop software for application development; the DataAcq SDKO(Software Developers Kit for C++) for Windows; and Quick DataAcqOa menu-driven, ready-to-run application that lets you control all subsystems of your Data Translation board, collect measurements, display measurements to the screen, and save measurements to the disk. Each DT9803 and DT9804 module is shipped with a USB cable, a CD-ROM containing free application software, DT-Open Layers-compliant drivers for Microsoft Windows 98/Windows 2000 (NT 5.0), and a comprehensive userûs manual in PDF form.
The DT9803 and DT9804 will be available immediately.
Pricing is as follows: the DT9803 is œ875.00; the DT9804 is œ945.00
