Elkay, a UK supplier of precision laboratory consumables, has launched a new generation of plastic dispenser syringes under the Ritips Professional brand.
Specially designed to fit most common dispensing systems, Ritips Professional is said to be the most universal syringe available on the market.
Elkay now offers Eppendorf Multipette plus users a competitively priced alternative to their usual supplier as these syringes fit perfectly.
The syringes can also be used on Multipette 4780, Multipette pro, Elkay Exelstep, Ripette, Brand Handystep and Handystep electronic.
The smooth plunger action of the syringe gives the user the fine control needed for confident dispensing of all types of liquids.
Nine syringe capacities are available including, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 25 and 50ml volumes. Black printed graduations on the side of the barrel of the syringe allow for easy sample verification.
Information printed on the syringe also determines which position the adjustment dial of the dispenser should be set.
A selector chart is provided as a guide when choosing which syringe needs to be loaded for a known dosing volume.
The chart also gives the number of dispensing and the position in which the adjustment dial needs to be set. Non-sterile packs of 100 are available as well as sterile DNase/RNase-free individually wrapped packs.
A unique test pack is offered which includes 20 off 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5 and 10ml non-sterile syringes for those low throughput users who wish to reduce their inventory.
The syringe is ideal for routine and research use.
