With a height profile of just 10mm, these new plates could save up to a third of the expensive freezer space needed
Genetix has announced new low profile 384-well plates, adding to its range of high quality plastic microplates for use in bioresearch applications.
The uniquely low height profile (10mm) of the new plates leads to real gains in storage capacity - typically saving up to a third in valuable freezer space. Precisely manufactured to SBS standard dimensions Genetix low profile 384-well plates offer full compatibility with the majority of liquid handling equipment making them particularly suitable for high throughput use.
Each plate has alphanumeric grid referencing for easy location of wells and cut-away corners for correct lid orientation.
This aids stacking stability and helps minimise cross contamination between wells.
Using only the highest-grade polystyrene ensures near zero leachates and reduced cell and tissue binding to the plate surface.
All low profile 384-well plates are supplied sterile in a variety of pack and case sizes to suit even sensitive biological applications. Genetix designed plate lids are supplied as standard to reduce evaporation and increase long-term sample integrity.
All Genetix microplates are manufactured under a fully assured ISO 9002 production process.
