The KV shuttle series provides bidirectional repeatability accuracy of 3µm open loop.
KV stages are engineered using high accuracy re-circulating ball ways, integrated end travel limits, standard Nema 17-frame stepper motor with coupling and mount, and anti-backlash leadscrews.
Travels range from 50mm to 200mm with flatness of travel less than 1µm over every 25mm of travel. Linearity of the screw is better than +/-2µm over the full travel with pitch/yaw 10arc/seconds per 25mm of travel.
Load capacity is 15kg.
Options include a choice of either 1mm or 2mm pitch lead screws, rotary encoder (2000 or 4000 CPR), a brake for vertical applications and three finishes (black annodise, gold irridite and chrome plated).
