Innova Biosciences has launched a family of assay reagents called PiColorLock to facilitate the measurement of the activity of phosphatases, ATPases and other Pi-generating enzymes in microplates.
Unlike the traditional Malachite Green method, which is prone to precipitation problems, the PiColorLock reagent is specially formulated to give a stable end-point signal, meaning that the researcher can queue plates for later counting - especially useful with HTS.
The reagent is supplied in several formulations to accommodate frequently encountered assay conditions.
