Tablet press is now in operation in Billingham, UK, producing test samples of catalysts and small production batches
Isopak has recently supplied a single punch tablet press to Johnson Matthey Catalysts, a world leader in catalysis science. The CPR-6 from Dott Bonpace is now in operation at the Johnson Matthey Catalysts site in Billingham, UK, where is it producing test samples of catalysts and small production batches.
Johnson Matthey catalyst forming expert Bill Sengelow said: "I was initially introduced to the CPR-6 on the Dott Bonapace stand during an exhibition in Frankfurt last year.
"I had been searching for a tablet press that was compact in size and was suitable for small batch runs, and found the capabilities and specification of the CPR-6 were well suited to these requirements".
The Johnson Matthey Catalysts team in Billingham then began working with the UK's sole distributor for the Dott Bonapace range, Isopak.
Sengelow has replaced a number of older machines with a single CPR-6 unit and has been delighted with the results.
"We have seen a number of benefits since installing the CPR-6", he said.
"With the CPR-6 being a single station operation it produces very precise results every time.
"Furthermore, its simple construction means it is quick and easy to train staff in its operation".
