Malvern's equipment range, now covering particle sizing from 0.5 to 2500um, will be on display at the Illinois show in May 2004
Malvern Instruments has added a number of new systems to its range of in-process particle size analysers to be exhibited at this year's Powder and Bulk Solids show (Rosemont, Illinois; 4-6 May 2004).
The latest developments are the Parsum in-line particle size analyser, for which Malvern Instruments has recently agreed distribution rights; and the Insitec Voyager, Malvern's award-winning mobile on-line particle size analyser launched during 2003.
Parsum systems are robust industrial instruments designed to make particle size and velocity measurements in dry powders, directly in the process line.
With the ability to measure particles from 50 to 2500um, they complement Malvern's Insitec range of on-line particle size analysers, which measure from 0.5 to 1000um in dry powders and wet suspensions.
Insitec Voyager is the first ever standard mobile unit for real-time on-line particle sizing.
It can be used on-line and at-line.
This mobile system can be attached to fixed sampling ports at a variety of points in a production line.
It can also be used to sample from different production lines within the same manufacturing plant.
Malvern experts will be available throughout the show to discuss specific particle characterisation issues and to provide information about the full range of Malvern systems and automation solutions.
