Single rod electrode assembly in a polypropylene plastic shaft incorporates all the advantages of a glass electrode for research purposes, but is also extremely rugged
The new Solitrode is a combined, dependable pH single rod electrode assembly in a polypropylene plastic shaft for direct measurement applications in development, environmental, research, and educational chemistry labs.
It incorporates all the advantages of a glass electrode for research purposes, but is also extremely rugged and ideally suited for routine applications up to 80C.
The proven long life silver/silver chloride cartridge with diffusion barrier as well as the new internal buffer allows fast establishment of the equilibrium on rapid temperature changes, which lead to improved measured value stabilisation.
The two ceramic diaphragms are pressed into Viton and are even resistant to highly alkaline solutions.
Thanks to the low membrane resistance, the Solitrode has a high response sensitivity and a dependability of a type previously only achievable with all-glass electrodes.
The inner reference has no sealing point and is spring mounted.
Thanks to the plastic cage protecting the pH sensor the Solitrode is said to be virtually unbreakable.
