Control and data acquisition are via the Metrodata IC Net software.
The 817 Bioscan analyses sugars, alcohols, sugar alcohols, sugar acids, and oxidisable substances. It is possible to operate an independent system with the pulsed amperometric detector, ie, to use the 817 Bioscan as a sugar analyser.
On the other hand, the 817 Bioscan detector can be included in an existing standard IC system for the determination of anions and cations without any problem.
