From difficult samples, such as dyes, inks, resins, polymers, beverages, and suspensions to basic easy-to-measure applications, this provides outstanding performance and stability
With temperature specifications that reach 100C, the Unitrode can cope with rough measuring conditions.
Due to its more defined electrolyte flow and minimised blockage, the electrolyte diaphragm of choice for precision pH measurements is the sleeve diaphragm, which offers an extremely reliable and precise measuring system.
With a fixed sleeve design that creates a sharp and well-defined interface between the sample and the sleeve, the possibility of sample carryover is greatly reduced, minimising cross contamination and memory effects.
The fixed ground-sleeve diaphragm itself is resistant to dirt and particles.
In addition, its annular design ensures that there is only a small difference in observed pH values between a stirred and an unstirred solution.
This aspect is particularly important for pH measurements in more difficult samples since they usually have to be stirred during the analysis to maintain consistency.
This new electrode also uses the Metrohm Long Life reference system with the Ag/AgCl cartridge with its silver ion barrier to ensure an extended life and consistent measurements.
All Unitrodes have a cylindrical pH glass membrane manufactured from green U glass, which is tolerant of high temperatures and highly alkaline samples and shows excellent response with sample measurements with a pH of 14.
Metrohm Unitrodes can also be used in partial nonaqueous media up to 10%.
